About this event

Savor the sparkle of five regional craft beers during the Great Rivers & Routes Craft Beer Week May 10 - 17. Breweries in Edwardsville, Alton, Collinsville and Grafton are joining forces to create an event to remember and unveil a collaboration beer in celebration of craft beer.

Join Grafton Winery & Brewhaus, Old Bakery Beer, Old Herald Brewing& Distillery, Peel Brewing Co. and Recess Brewing for seven days of delightful drink specials and keep the glass specials.

Craft Beer Week will kick off with a special event Saturday, May 11 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Gordon Moore Park in Alton. The outdoor event will feature live music from The Mindframes, Steel Creek and Big George Jr. & the NGK Band, beers from each of the five breweries, and food available from Goshen Butcher Shop.

The special collaboration brew celebrating Illinois ingredients and the work of the five breweries, named Farmhouse 66, will be unveiled. The saison brewed beer was created with honey and 100 percent of Illinois grown ingredients. The beer celebrates Illinois' Route 66 and was "created by friends" to be enjoyed "with friends" according to the brewers.
