Join us again for The Bethalto Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, September 28 from 10 AM – 1 PM in the parking lot at Lifebrook Church (the old Ziggy's and Knights of Columbus Hall at 400 N. Beau Chateau, Bethalto, IL, 62010).
This FREE event has something for every member of the family. The Bethalto Chili Cook-Off is an annual civic event that offers local chili connoisseurs opportunity to match their favorite chili recipes with others in the Greater Riverbend Area. We look forward to welcoming back our 20+ returning teams as well as all our new participants this year.
Attending this FREE event will allow you to enjoy hot dogs and chips by Lifebrook Church as well as a 2-ounce sampling of each competition chili and voting privileges for the People's Choice Award. The kiddos will be kept busy with bounce houses, yard tractor train-rides, face painting, minute-2-win-it games and much more. We will also be giving away door prizes every 15 minutes including; Amazon Fire Tablets, Bikes, Baskets, and more!
We will be awarding $100 prizes to winners as well as custom made commemorative cutting boards. Teams can choose an electric set-up (crock-pot, roaster, etc.) or a gas set-up (propane stove or grill).
We hope that you and the entire family will join us as we partner with local businesses and organizations in Bethalto to bring an amazing community event.
We also offer sponsorship opportunities for local businesses who would like to support this community tradition. These sponsorships include an invitation to set up promotional materials at the event and business name inclusion on the 2019 competition t-shirt. If you are interested in sponsoring the event please contact Pastor Cory at (618) 610-7612 before Monday, September 9, 2019.
