About this event

YWCA believes in improving the health and safety of women and girls. Sadly, according to One Love Foundation, over 1 in 3 women and nearly 1 in 4 men will be in abusive relationships. With this in mind, we are proudly hosting an exhibit based on the onelove.org mission and compiled by Dr. Christina Chapman's English class students at Lewis & Clark Community College. YWCA of Alton wants to educate young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships. No relationship is perfect, but there are signs to look for in healthy and unhealthy relationships. By learning to love better, we can identify and avoid abuse.
