Celebrate the holidays with a little mischief and wonder. We'll have holiday lights, a 16-foot welded Christmas tree, rocket ship Santa, member gifts, storytellers, a local vendor market, and more.

12/18: Sensory Day

We know we can be a lot. On December 18th, we’re calming things down so our sensory-sensitive friends can enjoy the museum with less light, noise, and a quiet area to retreat for those moments when we can be too extra. All ages and abilities welcome.

Masks are still required, which we know is difficult for some. Please wait to visit if you are unable to wear a mask.

12/19: Christmas Folklore from Around the World

Ms. Marion will be coming by on December 19th to tell a few traditional Christmas tales from around the world. Find out about Krampus, the Icelandic Christmas Witch, and other spooky Holiday lore. Stop by at 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM for socially-distanced story time in the Vault Room.

12/20: Procrastinator's Fair

On December 20th, drop by for a very socially distanced market on our third floor. It’ll be a Procrastinator’s Fair for those of us who wait until the last minute to get our Christmas shopping done. Shop goods from local vendors, ARTifacts, and the City Museum Gift Shop. You can even have your gifts wrapped by the team from The Riverfront Times. Remember: never shop on an empty stomach! Warm up (and fill up) with Chicken n Dumplings and S’more’s by one of our 3 fire pits on MonstroCity.
