Christmas With Our Neighbors

If you so wish, members of the congregation may make a monetary contribution toward the purchase of the gifts for the 70 residents. The contribution can be made through established on-line banking, VANCO, or by sending a check to Our Lord’s Lutheran Church, 150 Wilma Drive, Maryville, IL 62062. Please make the checks out to OLLC and write “Elmwood” on the memo line. Twenty dollars is the suggested contribution per resident.

 

The gifts will be ordered, assembled, and delivered to the residents by Christmas Day. Any extra funds received will be used to purchase a gift for the staff.

 

On Christmas morning, the congregation is also invited to meet in the church parking lot at 10 am. We will wear masks, stay safely distanced, and walk to the windows outside the Elmwood dining room to play pre-recorded Christmas carols and joyously play bells or other merry noise-makers.
