Litter Clean Up & Plastic Pollution Initiative

About this event

We are super excited to be part of this worldwide citizen science and clean-up event. Working with volunteer citizen scientists from local communities, the Mississippi River Plastic Pollution Initiative records data on the state of plastic pollution along the river to generate a ‘plastic pollution map’ that will help policymakers, businesses, and citizens take action.
