Winter Market Festival & 3rd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!

Enjoy a fun day in City Park at the City's first-ever Winter Market Festival!

It's our family-favorite annual Winter Market, but we've added some special features and moved it to City Park for an even bigger and more festive occasion!

The day will consist of shopping with local artisan vendors, meeting with Santa, Christmas Carols, free s'mores, kids craft, and the lighting of the Christmas Tree with our 3rd annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!

THE MARKET
Open from 1 to 6 p.m.

Shop a variety of local artisan vendors who will be sprinkled throughout City Park. This is a perfect opportunity to check off items on your holiday list and/or pick up a few things for yourself! We anticipate having at least 75 vendors this year. The market will showcase area artisans, baked goods, crafts (such as crochet items, jewelry and more), locally grown items, boutique gifts and unique products.

MEET WITH SANTA
From 2-5 p.m.

Santa Claus will be joining us in City Park to meet with young visitors. Santa will make a grand entrance to the park in a City of Edwardsville firetruck at 2 p.m. and remain at the park until 5 p.m.

ORNAMENT DECORATING
From 2-5 p.m.

Edwardsville Parks and Recreation is partnering with the Edwardsville Library to provide a FREE ornament decorating station right inside the Library. We will be providing wooden ornaments for the kids to make their own. Take it home and hang it on your tree or give it away to someone as a Christmas gift! Ornaments are available while supplies last.

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT

S'MORES
S'mores Kits will be passed out of the Santa House starting at 4:45 p.m.

The City will be handing out free s'mores kits to community members out of the Santa house in the corner of the park. Kits are available while supplies last. We will have fire pits and roasting sticks available for you to make your sweet treat before we begin our tree-lighting ceremony.
