Heartland Prairie Walk

Join us at the Heartland Prairie at Gordon Moore Park (North) i n Alton for bimonthly prairie walks. They are held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, April - October. The walks are free and open to th e public. Enjoy a guided prairie walk focused on plant and bird identifica tion.

Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately. Bring wate r, and if you have binoculars and a plant identification book you might w ant to bring them as well.
