Illinois RiverWatch Training Workshop

This is a past event that has already occured.
@ The Nature Institute | Godfrey, IL

About this event

The Illinois RiverWatch Network is a statewide, non-profit, volunteer stream monitoring program. Volunteers are trained and certified as community scientists to monitor and protect a local stream. Upon completing training and becoming certified, volunteers adopt a stream site and monitor water quality through habitat and macroinvertebrate surveys. We have a limited number of scholarships. Please reach out to RiverWatch staff if the cost of the workshop is deterring you from attending.

This RiverWatch training will occur at The Nature Institute on April 27 from 9am to 4pm. RiverWatch trainers from the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center.
