Candidate Forum

About this event

The League of Women Voters, Edwardsville area along with the NAACP Edwardsville chapter will host a candidate forum at the Wildey Theater on Oct. 2 at 7:00 p.m. 

All candidates from these races have been invited: County Board Member Districts 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26. Also candidates for Represenatative in the 111th and 112th IL General Assembly, as well as the candidates for House of Represenative in the U.S. Congress District 13. Not all candidates were available for this event.  The attached flyer lists those who have made the commitment to be present.  

For the races in which candidates from both parties will be present (County Board Member Districts 24, 25, and 26) questions from the audience will be solicited, carefully selected for fairness and policy focus, and read to both candidates. 

This is a free public event.  All are welcome to attend a polite and informative program.
