Join NGRREC for the kickoff of their SEED Series, an educational program designed to foster awareness and understanding of sustainability and environmental stewardship in our community.

Event Highlights:

  • “Gearing Up for Gardens” Workshop:
    Learn from horticulturist and garden designer Katie Piper about the benefits of native plants and how to incorporate them into your garden for a more sustainable approach.
  • Native Seed Swap:
    Share and swap seeds with fellow attendees to promote biodiversity in local gardens.
  • Take Home a Gift:
    Each attendee will receive a packet of Illinois bundleflower seeds collected from the Field Station gardens, perfect for starting your own native plant journey.
