The library is honored to welcome back Kurt Smith, the official Thomas Jefferson of Colonial Williamsburg, for “An Evening with Thomas Jefferson”! Smith will present a lecture as Jefferson and then answer questions in character. Kurt Smith is one of two men in the world who make their living full-time by portraying Thomas Jefferson. He has portrayed Jefferson for U.S. Supreme Court justices, the U.S. Congress, state governors, state supreme court chief justices, federal cabinet members, presidential candidates, and royalty around the globe. He has been acclaimed in articles and media from The Washington Post to The Ellen DeGeneres Show. This event is made possible with funding from the Lewis & Clark Society of America.
