Argosy Casino Alton will reopen on Wednesday. It will have a slightly different feel than when it closed due to the pandemic back in March, with employees and guests required to wear face coverings. There will be limited capacity inside the casino, but most slots and table games will be available.
No large drawings, tournaments or special events are planned, and their banquet facility remains closed. The only dining option will be the Hops House Alton. The Argosy Sports Book will reopen, after a brief kick-off in mid-March. Team members and vendors will be required to wear masks and will undergo a health screening each day, including temperature checks, prior to their shift. Guests will be required to wear masks except when actively eating or drinking. Slot machines will be thoroughly and regularly cleaned throughout the day. Sanitizer stations will be installed on the casino floor and be readily available throughout the facility and direction signage will be in place to help patrons with social distancing. Argosy Alton will open at 10am Wednesday July 1.
