A Quincy man is charged with eight felonies following an arson at a Granite City business this week. 21-year-old Terry A. Valenzuela is jailed on a $2250,000 bond, accused of setting fire to the Farm Fresh store in the 2,900 block of Nameoki Road.
It is believed the fire was started to cover up a burglary. He has been charged with three counts of Arson and five counts of Burglary. The Granite City Police and Fire Departments also responded to several vehicle fires in the vicinity of Farm Fresh which were suspected to have been committed by the same suspect.
