Mobile community-based COVID-19 testing continues in Madison County. Madison County is hosting the Illinois Department of Public Health testing around the community, with a location set up today (Wednesday) at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Alton, and another Alton availability Saturday at Deliverance Temple.
In all cases the sites will be open from 8am-4pm. Madison County Health Department Public Information Officer Amy Yeager tells The Big Z between the state and county health departments there are numerous opportunities to get tested.

No appointment is needed, but masks are required. These testing sites are open to anyone over 6 months old, and anyone with or without symptoms can be tested. Tests will be done with a nasal swab. You must have a valid phone number as you will receive a call with your results, but due to lab delays it may take up to a week to get your results.
