The last time the Open Space Master Plan for Godfrey was updated was 2014, so it’s time to do it again, according to the head of the village’s Parks and Recreation Director. A community survey was conducted last year, and now the village is asking for your input at a public workshop next Thursday at the park behind Village Hall.

Next Thursday, June 17, from 4:30-6:30pm at the Homer Adams Park behind Village Hall under the park pavilion you will be able to map out what you would like to see in the village’s parks. In particular, Park and Recreation Director Todd Strubhart tells The Big Z they are looking at future uses for the undeveloped part of Glazebrook Park.

In the event of inclement weather, this event will be moved indoors to the Village Hall Meeting Room. For more information, call 466-1483.
