Godfrey’s mayor says the parks in the village remain open and encourages people to take advantage of them during this pandemic. The bathrooms have been locked and the playgrounds are off limits, but other than that, Mayor Mike McCormick says LaVista Park on Delmar Avenue and Glazebrook Park on Stamper Lane are there for you to enjoy.
He tells The Big Z there are few other restrictions on what’s available.

He did say the soccer goals at Glazebrook Park have been locked up so as not to encourage any pick-up soccer games, again, in the spirit of social distancing.
