Highway 67 is now open again through Delhi after an apartment fire earlier this morning. No injuries have been reported in the blaze that broke out at the apartment building on Ivy lane where 12 people escaped. Four local fire departments responded to the scene.
Highway 67 was closed for several hours while fire crews were on the scene. The QEM, Godfrey Fire, Brighton Betsy-Ann, and Jerseyville fire departments all responded this morning. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A donation drop off point has been established at the bar across the highway from the apartments. Clothing is being accepted at "Whiskey Creek" during regular business hours, 10am-1am.
