Aside from the immediate response to the spray, it is not believed the students are experiencing any lingering effects. Pearson says he is not sure of the motivation behind the incident, but thinks there may have been an ongoing conflict between those involved. He says all students are minors. According to information released by his office, the incident is being taken seriously, and will continue to follow disciplinary procedures as prescribed by the policy manual and student handbook.
