There are more new faces on the Lewis and Clark Community College Board of Trustees. Elected to 6-year terms are Larry Trent and Dwight Werts, handily defeating Jack Holmes and Jeffrey Ferguson. Incumbent Robert Watson did not run for reelection.

Although all four appeared separately on the ballot, there was an alliance between Trent and Werts and also with Holmes and Ferguson. The breakdown was 10,173 for Trent, 10,131 for Werts, 7,504 for Holmes, and 6,462 for Ferguson. Votes were cast in Madison, Jersey, and Macoupin counties, with percentages fairly similar for the candidates in all three counties.
