The United Way of Greater St. Louis has announced it has surpassed its 2019 fundraising campaign goal. Last year the agency raised a record of just over $76 million. The organization’s goal of $76.25 million this year was met and then some, raising $76,302,000.

United Way spokesman Erin Smith tells The Big Z the money will be pumped into the various organizations and agencies they support.

United Way of Greater St. Louis invests more than $1 million each week in the St. Louis region. Partnering with the various agencies, programs, and services, they support one in three people in a 16-county region throughout the St. Louis area.
