It’s a 90-year sentence for a Farmington, Missouri, woman in the murder and robbery of a Collinsville man in 2015. 48-year-old Eva Heisch was found guilty in August of first-degree murder and armed robbery in connection with the death of 68-year-old Daniel Taylor. Another man charged in the case is already in prison.
Prosecutors said Heisch committed the crime to get gas money for herself and the other suspect in the case, 37-year-old Jesse Werley also of Farmington. The pair arrived at Taylor’s home on December 6, 2015, robbed and killed the man. Heisch knew the victim because he was once a customer where she worked at Miss Kitty’s Showroom in Washington Park. Werley pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to 40 years in prison. Heisch must serve all of the 60 years for murder, and 80-percent of the 30 years for armed robbery. Circuit Judge Richard Tognarelli presided over the case.
