Daniel Matthew Zorger 40, of Alton, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 4:51 a.m.
He was born September 21, 1977 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Steven Zorger and Linda (Dreher) Howenstein.
Daniel was a Forman at Shade Tree Service in Missouri. He loved music and playing the guitar, even stepping in and playing for several different bands. Daniel enjoyed camping, hiking, going to concerts, and most of all; spending time with his children.
He is survived by his parents, Linda (Roger) Howenstein of Wright City, MO and Steven (Joyce) Zorger of Godfrey, Il; and three children, Leif, Isabel and Greta Zorger.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, David Michael Zorger.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Staten- Fine Funeral Home.
A Memorial Mass will take place Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
Memorials may be made to his children.
