Harrell Junior Lankford, 67, passed away 11:45 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wood River on November 15, 1951, he was the son of Frank and Agnes (McColgan) Lankford.
He had been a asphalt truck driver for C.A.M. Construction in South Roxana.
He married Victoria Alonzo who preceded him in death on September 10, 2006.
Surviving are three daughters, Jaye Schollmeyer-Lyerla, Angela Brown and Ginger Lankford all of Cottage Hills; grandchildren, Christopher Tassinari, D.J. and Alexis Schollmeyer, Katlyn Brown; and four sisters, Rosie Hooten and Shirley Betcher of Frederickstown, MO, Susie Kiesler of East Alton, Frankie Mellintin of Moro.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 15 at Marks Mortuary. Pastor Steve Disney will officiate.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.
