Jeffrey Dean McGibany, 58, passed away 8:30 pm, Monday, January 14, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Hospital.
Born June 5, 1960 in Alton, he was the son of Loren "Dean" and Bettie Jean (Reed) McGibany.
He had been employed as a courier for FedEx for 10 years.
On September 28, 1990 at St. Martin DePorres, he married Patricia Eckert. She survives.
Surviving also are daughters, Meghan (Michael) Dietz, Morgan McGibany (Tom Canizales) all of Florissant; grandchildren, Paisley Dietz and Savannah Canizales; brother, Steven McGibany of Collinsville; and sisters, Teresa Take of Collinsville, Carol McGibany of Roxana, Marla Kiel of Griggsville and Lisa Talkington of Wood River.
Visitation will be from 3 pm until time of service at 7 pm, Friday, January 18 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Interment will be in Sunny Side Cemetery in Sorento.
Memorials may be made to an Education Fund established for his grandchildren in care of Gateway Metro Credit Union.
