Anthony Kaizer Jr., 65, died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born August 12, 1953 in Alton, he was the son of Anthony and Vera (Trunowa) Kaizer. He worked as a machinist for Olin. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Surviving are two sons, Anthony Keith Kaizer (Heather) of Lake St. Louis, MO, and Matthew Kaizer of Pflugerville, TX, two grandchildren, Grace and Alexander, and one brother, Edward Kaizer (Mary) of Godfrey. Also surviving are three nieces, Katie Grable, Jennifer O’Bryan, and Carrie Redd and one nephew, Joe Grizzle. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Kaizer. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.
