Jacquelyn Tyler, 81, died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born September 28, 1937 in Quincy, IL, she was the daughter of Earl A. and Doris M. (Woodall) Kelle. She was a banker for various banks retiring from U.S. Bank in Upper Alton. Surviving is her best friend and companion, Nordell Hill, one daughter, Jennifer Lapeyre (Charlie) of Dallas, TX, one son, George Tyler of East Alton, and Nordell’s children; Alan Hill (Gail) of Atlanta, GA, Greg Hill (Sheri) of Godfrey, Mary Jane Vigna (Mark) of Durham, NC, and Julie Franks (Dan) of Godfrey. Between Nordell and Jackie 10 grand children survive. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Eddie Mitchell. A memorial visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Siteman Cancer Center.
