Gerald P. "Jerry" Mount, 76, passed away 4:47 pm, Thursday, May 16, 2019 in Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born September 8, 1942 in Edwardsville, he was the son of Ervin and Evelyn (Dildine) Mount.
Jerry had worked in the Environmental Services department at Alton Memorial Hospital for about 25 years before retiring in 1996.
He married Debra Len Schwarberg. She died April 20, 2019.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Kay Weed; grandson, Tom Forrester; brother, Wayne Mount and sister, Nancy Schmutzler.
Services and burial will follow at a later date.
Marks Mortuary in wood River is in charge of arrangements.
