Judith Karen Dobson Bevill Bick passed away on May 15, 2019 at her home after a battle with cancer.
Judith was born January 23, 1943 to William Edgar and Lorena Marguerite (Banfield) Dobson in Dow, IL. She was born the fourth of twelve children.
Judith married Francis G. Bick on October 8, 1981 at St. Norberts Catholic Church in Hardin, IL. She was an avid gardener and could always be found with a flower in her hand.
Judith is survived by her loving husband Francis, children: Mary Dustina Abbott Bevill of Alton, Il, William David (Carol) Bevill of Hamburg, IL, Ruth Marie (Kenneth) Loyet of Collinsville, IL, Angela Ann (Robert) Bair of Buchanan, MI, and siblings: Etta Ann Hall, Margaret Beth Ryan, Charles Benton Dobson, Laura Lynne Mielke, David Michael Dobson, Kathleen Renee Waters, and Robert Scott Dobson.
Judith had seven grandchildren she loved and was very proud of, Nathan Bradley Bevill, Tabitha Marie Bevill, William Eugene Matthews, Jennifer Ann Matthews, Brooke Elizabeth Loyet, Andrea Nicole Bair, and Rebecca Lynn Bevill; she also has many great-grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, son: Richard Daniel Bevill; siblings: William Edgar Dobson, Jr., Regina Charlene Godar, Bernard Lowell Dobson, Richard Dennis Dobson, and Paul Bryan Dobson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 1,2019 at the Jerseyville American Legion from 12-2pm following a graveside service officiated by Father Marty Smith at Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton, IL at 10:30am.
Per the family's request, flowers may be sent to the Jerseyville American Legion for the Celebration of Life or one can plant a flower, shrub, or tree in memory of Judith.
