Carol M. Hoffman, age 85 of Highland, IL, died Monday, July 08, 2019, at Kindred Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.
She was born on November 05, 1933, in St. Jacob, IL, the daughter of Orville and Ruth (nee Pence) Ritter.
On November 24, 1951, she married Willima G. "Bill" Hoffman at St. Jacob, IL. He passed away on Sunday, February 20, 1994.
She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ. She was also a member of Evangelical UCC Women's Guild; Royal Neighbors.
Carol was born in St. Jacob and graduated St. Jacob High School in 1951. Shortly after graduation she married her husband and they moved to a Dairy Farm south of Pierron, IL where the farmed and lived over 40 years. Carol was proud to be a farm wife and loved raising animals, daily farm work and planting and harvesting her garden and canning vegetables, She loved holidays and family get-to-gathers. She moved to Highland in 1995, after her husband passed away. She found solace in stitching and plastic canvas crafts.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland, IL.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland, IL, with Rev. Janis Dashner officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
