Andrea L. Secor, age 49, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away at 2:07 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at her residence. She was born January 29, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Thad Buckey of Edwardsville, and Karen (Scheer) Buckey of St. Louis. Andrea married Tad L. Secor on November 20, 1993, in St. Louis, he survives. She is also survived by three daughters, Tatum, Tess, & Juliet Secor, all of Edwardsville; two sisters, April Longe of Minnesota, Janel Ellsworth & husband Kurt of Edwardsville; a half-brother, John Michael Buckey of Edwardsville; and a half sister Crystal Buckey of Kirkwood, Missouri. Andrea was a sweet beautiful soul and a devout Christian. Her struggle with a behavior health illness is now over. May she rest in peace.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday October 17th, 2019 at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday October 18, 2019 at the Community Christian Church, 2345 Union School Road in Alton, Illinois 62002, with Rev. David Burger officiating.
