Robert L. Pieper, age 92, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, formerly of Worden, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Eden Village in Glen Carbon. He was born July 21, 1928, in Worden, the son of the late Leonard & Dorothy (Mueller) Pieper. Robert worked as a salesman in the hardware business for many years. He married Mary Alice (Oltmann) Pieper in 2004, she preceded him in death on March 2, 2016.
He is survived by his step-son Gary Oltmann & wife Judy of Bridgeport, NE. Robert was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden. Robert was cremated according to his wishes and will be buried at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Worden. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date with Rev. Heath Curtis officiating.
