Monica A. Stroud, 93, passed away at 8:11 am, Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her residence.
Born May 5, 1927, in Norfolk, NE, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Bannan) Eastburn.
She had worked as a retail grocery clerk and well as for East Alton Public Library and had been a volunteer for Operation Blessing. Monica enjoyed socializing at the East Alton Recreation Center, quilting, ceramics and watching Hallmark movies.
She is survived by a son, David Allen; daughter, Nancy Stroud; grandchildren, Kevin Kloeckner, Kristie Westfall, Karen Velasquez, David Allen, Jessica Haugen, Shannon Logan and Brittany Logan; and nine great grandchildren.
Her parents; and brother, Giles "Bud" Eastburn preceded in death.
Private service and burial will be in Upper Alton Cemetery.
