Glenda Foster

Glenda Kay Foster, 65, died at 5:40 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2020 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born January 18, 1955 in Alton, she was the daughter of Robert Wallace and Emogene M. (Strong) Macbeth. Mrs. Foster worked as a cashier for Riverside Edge Gas Mart for 19 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Alton. On September 11, 1988 she married Bobby Lynn Foster in Houston, MO. He survives. Also surviving is a son, Adam Foster (Kim) of Godfrey, three grandchildren, Talan and Tadan Foster, and London Wood, one sister, Mary Flamini (Chuck) of Springfield, IL, a niece, Tonya Douglas (Brandon) of Pittsfield, three great nieces, Annabella Dorrity, Ava Douglas, and Aubree Douglas of Pittsfield. Services will be private at Gent Funeral Home in Alton on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Reverend Andre' Dobson will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
