Ronald D. Jennings, 76 years old, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab.
He was born Nov. 5, 1944 in Highland, IL to Virgil (Trudy) Jennings and the late Lila Dennis.
A 1964 graduate of Wood River High School, following graduation Ron joined the Navy.
Ron enjoyed life to the fullest, especially time with family.
He is survived by his father, Virgil (Trudy) Jennings; 3 brothers, his twin Donald Jennings of East Alton, Jerry Burkett of Maryville, IL, and Brett of Florida; sister Brenda Rulo of Taylorville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Dennis; brother Danny Poston, sister-in-law, Judy Jennings; and brother-in-law, Joe Rulo.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Mount Vernon, IL.
