Edward “Eddie” Allen Mumper, age 57 of Collinsville, Il, born June 11, 1965, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Clayton, MO.
Eddie was a 1983 Collinsville High School graduate. He was employed at Lakeside Roofing in Collinsville as a roofing foreman with 23 years of service.
Eddie grew up riding motorcycles and loved riding his Harley with his wife, Trish. He enjoyed hunting and watching his children play sports in their younger years. His grandchildren were his whole world and he loved them to the moon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie (nee Musso) Mumper, whom he absolutely adored; and father-in-law, Max Malwitz.
Surviving are his wife, Trish (nee Milam) Mumper, whom he married July 16, 1999; son, Randy (Jenna) Mumper of St. Charles, MO; two daughters: Tawni Price of East Alton, IL, and Katie (Kyle) Turner of Edwardsville, IL; father, Kenneth Mumper Sr. of Collinsville, IL; two brothers: Kenneth (Connie) Mumper Jr. of Coulterville, IL and Paul (Pam) Mumper of Troy, IL; eight grandchildren: Logan, CJ, Willow, Grayson, River, Ethan, Talon and Dylan; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 – 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.
The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Dale Skeesick officiating.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Partners for Pets and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
