Carole Marie Durbin, 83, of Gillespie, IL, died at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 10:28 pm.
She was born January 9, 1939, in Litchfield, IL to Paul Allen Lynn & Helen Irene Dunham Lynn. She married Joseph Franklin Durbin on September 28, 1957, in Litchfield, IL.
She was a homemaker. Carole enjoyed quilting and cross stitching.
She is survived by her spouse, Joseph Durbin of Gillespie, IL, children, Rick (Kathi) Durbin of Sawyerville, IL, Debra (Kirk) Brashears of Staunton, IL, Randy (Sherrie) Durbin of Shipman, IL, Lisa (Randy) Brown of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, Eric, Emily, Nathan, Aaron, Hannah, Adam, Tyler, Whitney, 12 great-grandchildren.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Lynn, and sister, Lola Hall.
Friends may call on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral services are Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie.
Burial will be at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Litchfield, IL.
