Bruce Edward Williams, 64, of Bethalto, IL, was born into this life on October 12, 1959, in Jerseyville, IL, and passed into eternal life on December 7, 2023, and is now with his father Orville "Ed" Williams and his mother Janet (Breden) WIlliams.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lisa (Willman) Williams; his son Justin Williams; his daughter and son-in-law Rachel and T.J. Shampine; two granddaughters Sloane and Harlow; five siblings Lynn (Jim) Snyder, Anne (Darrell) Becker, John (Cheryl) Williams, Chris Williams, and Mark (Angie) Williams; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Bruce enjoyed playing pool, playing cards, listening to music, especially George Jones and Elvis, and playing with his granddaughters. His "dad jokes" and witty sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and professional services will be handled by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hardin on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 11 am. A private family burial will be held at Hardin City Cemetery.
