Dana Duane Williams, 57, passed away at 4:20pm on Monday, December 4, 2023, at his residence. He was born on October 1, 1966, in Wood River, the son of the late Billy and Geraldine (Cox) Williams. Survivors include his siblings and their spouses: Rebecca Wilson of Roxana, Rose Joyce “Jody” and Bobby Dimsdale of South Carolina, Debbie (John Baldwin) Buck of East Alton, Billy “Joe” Williams of East Alton, Chris and Joyce Williams of East Alton, Darrell and Donna Ralston of East Alton, Herb and Kathy Ralston of Bunker Hill, his uncles and aunt: Jim and Sherry Williams of O’Fallon, Illinois, Jerry Williams of Chicago, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Dana was formerly employed at Lucky Trading and he enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Danny Ralston, Jeff Ralston, a sister: Sandy Ralston, a niece: Kasandra Herrin, and his grandparents: Samuel and Christine Williams.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Private services will be held at a later date with inurnment at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
