David T. Livingston, 67, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 21, 1956, in Alton, he was a son of Charles Thomas and Verda Rochelle (Myers) Livingston.
A self-employed carpenter, David was an avid sports fan. He particularly loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed bowling and playing softball, and especially loved watching his grandkids playing sports.
He married Gail Harper June 11, 1985, in Alton. She survives along with a daughter, Andrea (Adam) Stutz of Godfrey; three sons, Chris (Dawn) Taylor of Alton, Jeff Livingston and his fiancée Jennifer Sullenger of Bethalto, and Zach Livingston of Alton; 5 grandchildren, Michael, T.J., Aiden, Addison, and Alivia; a sister, Beverly (Robert) Moore of South Roxana; and a brother, Robert Livingston of Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kara Livingston; and a brother, Gregory Livingston.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 4 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 3 p.m. until services begin at 5 p.m.
