Shelly Dickerson, 58, died at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born February 5, 1965 in Wood River, IL the daughter of the late Ronnie Clark and Carol Marie (Barry) Kopp of Wood River. She worked as a CNA in the home health industry for many years. Surviving are one daughter, Amanda Dickerson of East Alton, one son, Jonathon Dickerson (Jessica Wilcox) of Alton, one grandson, Jay Michael Kelly Dickerson, niece and nephew, Ryan Jenkins, Kari Woodard, great nephews, Michael Willfong and Ben Jenkins, five sisters, Debbie Clark, Rhonda Clark, Tina Kopp, Nikki Kopp and Holly Clark and her ex-husband, John Dickerson. A Memorial visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
