Mary J. Glaeser, 75, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born September 4, 1948 in Alton, she was the daughter of Charles G. and Ardeth Esther (Schneider) Winslade. She married James “Jim” Glaeser on June 5, 1971 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton. Mrs. Glaeser was a secretary for computer department and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She enjoyed family, cooking, and old TV shows. Along with her husband, Jim, she is survived by a daughter, Julie Glaeser Radcliff (Britt) of Alton, a son, Jason Glaeser of Alton, three grandchildren, Zach, Tyler and Maya and a great granddaughter, Vivienne. She loved her dog, Charlie. She was preceded in death by her parents. Per her wishes, there will be no services. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
