Mary "Katherine" Manson, 84, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at La Bella Nursing Home in Alton.
Born August 21, 1939 in Granite City, she was the daughter of Richard and Mary (Ashford) Knoblauch.
She had been a beautician/hair stylist at several locations including La Bonita in Wood River before retiring.
She married Lacy Manson who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two brothers, David Knoblauch of Moro, Paul Knoblauch of East Alton; two sisters, Brenda Wiess of East Alton, Linda Elfgen of Wood River; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Byron Knoblauch.
Visitation will be from 1 pm until time of service at 1:30 pm, Friday, February 9 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
