Brenda Sue Bryson, 73, of Alton, IL passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at St. Anthony's Hospital.
Born February 10, 1950, in Alton, IL, she was the daughter of William and Margie (Larbey) Crane.
She married Gary Thomas Deck in 1969. He passed away in 1987.
She later married Michael L. Bryson.
Brenda was a Homemaker while her sons were in school. She later worked retail at JCPenney and in the office of her parent's family business, Alton Refrigeration. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid animal lover. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.
Surviving is her husband, Michael Bryson; two sons, Gary (Carla) Deck of Pontoon Beach, IL, and Dan Deck of Alton, IL.; one grandchild, Garrett T. (Kara) Deck of Alton, IL.; one great-grandchild, Mason W. Deck of Alton, IL.; two brothers, William (Carole) Crane Jr., and Dr. James (Pam) Crane; numerous nieces and nephews.
In celebration of her life, a visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Elias Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home, 1313 West Delmar, Godfrey, IL.
Burial following at Valhalla Cemetery in Godfrey, IL
