Larry G. Bauer, 68, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born on November 18, 1955, in Wood River, IL the son of William Bauer and Betty (Hendricks) Bauer-Thiesen.
Larry retired from Olin Corp after 37 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and working on small engines, and just tinkering in his garage. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, Harley Davidson's and fast cars.
Larry is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jeff Heisse of Staunton; and four grandchildren, Jordan and Haylee Hewitt, Logan Heisse, Jeffrey Heisse, and Nicholas Heisse; his beloved dog, Nell; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
