Richard "Rick" L. Thomas, 69, passed away at 10:27 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at OSF St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton.
He was born on April 6, 1954, in Alton, IL to Richard E. and Mary F. (Miller) Thomas.
Ricky T married Brandy Blaine at Riverview Park in Alton on July 24, 2021. She survives.
He was a member of Concordia Church in Cottage Hills. He played in a pool league, enjoyed bowling, and adored being a grandfather. He was a man of many names such as "Rick-ard" "Slick Rick" and "Tricky Dick".
Rick was regarded as the sweetest man alive and will be extremely missed by his friends and family.
Along with his wife, Rick is survived by his children, Cassidy (Princess) Thomas, Brandon Clark, and Myakell Jackson; grandson, Bryson Clark; siblings, Terri (David) Delp, Tim (Paula) Thomas, and Traci (Mark) Frields; In-Laws, Michelle (Trey) Blaine-DeHan, Adra (Jason) Tatum, and Codie (Rebecca) Blaine; as well as many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Christy Delp.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites were accorded. No services have been scheduled at this time.
