Brian Wesley Taylor passed away at 3:30pm on Friday April 19,2024, from lung cancer at the age of 68. He died at St Rita Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
Brian served as a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corp and received an honorable discharge when his service had ended. He also worked at Owens IL plant 7.
When Brian was young, he loved to ride a mini bike, play the drums, and play jokes on people.
He lived the last 10 years of his life in Lima, Ohio. His sister Margaret and cousin Lori made the trip to Lima, Ohio to be with Brian the last days of his life. His mother and other siblings were able to FaceTime with him and were able to reminisce and were assured Jesus was his Lord and Savior.
Brian was the son of Bud W Taylor (who passed away on February 9, 1999 ) and Madge D Taylor of Bethalto, IL who is living in Alton Memorial rehab and physical therapy nursing home (former Eunice Smith nursing home).
Brian is survived by sisters Janice Goodbrake, Sandy Culbertson, and Margaret Smith, and brother Greg Taylor, and their spouses, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Although Brian had his difficulties, we choose to remember the good.
There will be a private burial and memorial service for the family. The date, time and location of services will be announced in the future.
