Margaret R Odorizzi, 90, of Gillespie, IL, died at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 9:38 am.
She was born April 23, 1934, in Harvey, IL to Alexander Young & Elizabeth Agnes (McCormack). She was a buyer for Echlin Manufacturing in Litchfield, IL.
Margaret was a member of the Gillespie Methodist Church and the Methodist Women's Group. She enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards and gambling at slot machines. She is survived by her children, Carrie (Tonya) Mershon of Fenton, MO, Robert (Ramona) Odorizzi of Litchfield, IL, grandchildren, Heather (Craig) Murdock, Lee (Kendra) Odorizzi, Robbie Odorizzi, Gabriel, Catherine, great-grandchildren, Sydney Murdock, Trent Owens, Audrey Owens, Carly Owens, Kynli McDonald, Kendrick Hodge, Dom Phillips, Gavin Odorizzi, Connor Odorizzi and sibling, Alex "Blackie" Young of Gillespie, IL.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Don Odorizzi whom she married on February 6, 1960, sister, Catherine (George) Swetlik and sister in law, Maxine Young. No public services are scheduled.
