Nancy Lee Brown, age 85, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at HSHS Holy Family Hospital surrounded by her family.
There will be no public service. Memorials are suggested to Brown Cemetery or Bond County Memorial VFW Post 1377. Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be mailed to the funeral home at 203 West Oak Street, Greenville, IL 62246 or dropped off at that address.
Nancy was the daughter of William L. and Maxine (Maynard) DeMoulin. She was born January 28, 1940. She attended local schools and had many friends.
She and Robert A Brown were married September 19th, 1957 in Greenville. Bob preceded her in death on August 7, 2024. They shared 67 years together. They are parents of Terry Derrick, Scott Brown, Jeffrey Brown and wife Kelli, and Matt Brown and wife Denice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in - law Villa Brown and son-in-law Doug Derrick. Nancy is also survived by her brother Dick DeMoulin and wife Robyn along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy was a loving grandmother to Lesley, Jamie, Kelly, Megan and husband Michael, Casey, Macy and husband Matt, Jake, Lauren, Clay and wife Abby and Cody. Loving great-grandmother to Emmy, Keegan, Ivy, Alex, Ben and Sophia.
Nancy was a talented quilter. She loved taking rides in the country with Bob. Taking a coffee and their Labrador retriever and looking for animals. But mostly, Nancy loved her family. She had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.
