Leslie Ann Raffety, age 82 of Sorento, IL, died Friday, April 4, 2025, at her home in Sorento, IL.
She was born on Wednesday, December 9, 1942, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Truman and Barbara (nee Terbush) Schneider.
Leslie was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. After graduation, she attended college in Ann Arbor. Leslie traveled as a military spouse. In the 1980s she moved to Troy, until early 1990s when she moved to Belleville to be near her family. Leslie worked at Dillard's in the Metro East area for over 25 years as a retail buyer. She loved horses, caring for animals all together and collected cats and dogs. Leslie adored all her grandchildren and was a fan of the Rams and Cardinals.

- Brother - Robert Schneider, Toledo, OH
She was preceded in death by:
- Father - Truman Henry Schneider
- Mother - Barbara Gretchen Schneider (nee Terbush)
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
A private gathering will be held later this spring.
